Narrowing

Tonight was the first night of Hollywood night (can I use night again in this sentence) and we are down to 50 contestants in one two-hour show. I can't say I know for sure who all the 50 are, but I'm going to make some early calls. I predict David Archuleta, David Hernandez, Syesha Mercado, and Asia'h Epperson will be in the final 24 at least and maybe even in the final 12. We'll see. One complaint is that they seem to be casting the show rather than picking out the best singers. By casting, I mean picking certain types that are interesting or funny or underdogs rather than picking out good talent. One example would be choosing the flamboyant black guy or the nerd with the poofy hair and glasses.
