Here I Go

Who doesn't like Dolly Parton? Ragged and I both like Dolly and her music, so tonight was fun.

Brooke White opened the show with Ragged's favorite, "Jolene". The beginning was sketchy but it ended up being pretty good.

David Cook did a pretty good job, too. I didn't like this one as much as his former performances, but I liked it. Crossing genres with songs alot of times turns out cool.

I'm sorry to say Ramiele Malubay was not that good. The music and background singers drowned her out. She's in real danger this week. She comes off a little I don't carish when they talk to her, too.

I'm back to not liking Jason Castro. He will definitely hit the bottom 3 this week and he may be the one to go.

Carly Smithson sounded great, but the emotion behind the song didn't match. The arrangement was a little odd as well, but I still liked her. Simon was mean to her about her clothes. You can say pretty much anything if it's said in the right place.

David Archuleta sounded great. Those ballads are his thing. The music sounded like the music from "Desperado". Anyway, no problem for him to go through to the next round.

Kristy Lee Cook sounded nice. I'm still not much of a fan of hers and I think she deserves to go but she was not the worst tonight.

Syesha Mercado picked a great song and she sounded fantastic, I thought. For some reason America isn't behind her. I wouldn't be surprised to see her in the bottom 3 yet again.

I was a great admirer of Michael Johns tonight. He was trying to hard and it wasn't working.

Top 3: David Archuleta, Carly Smithson, and Syesha Mercado
Bottom 3: Michael Johns, Ramiele Mulabay, and Jason Castro
Who should go: Jason Castro
Who will go: Ramiele Mulabay
